Leisure, Sports & Recreation Security Solutions
Security, CCTV, access control and membership-focussed solutions for leisure centres, sports complexes & recreation facilities
Security and access control for leisure, sports & recreation facilities are key considerations – but ones that should not reduce the enjoyment of the customers and members who are using them.
A well designed access control and security system will help people use the facilities with confidence and ease, ensuring that they are able to enjoy the relevant activities in safety and comfort.
We design, install, service, maintain and repair security solutions for a wide variety of leisure, sports & recreation settings including CCTV, access control and lockdown systems.

Our security solutions for leisure, sport & recreation facilities and complexes allow staff and customers to access the site whilst restricting public access. They use CCTV to secure site assets and customer property, as well as assisting with health & safety monitoring and offering solutions that can help with thermal screening and controlling visitor numbers.
The integration of security solutions with membership systems has become increasingly important as the technology has developed, allowing for elements such as zoned access control based on membership levels. Our solutions provide access into areas such as staff rooms and equipment stores using features such as anti-passback, emergency lockdown, multi-user groups and video entry systems – a great way to visually verify site visitors before granting access or deliveries to site.
Branded membership access control cards can also be included, with personal images and details for administrators to visually confirm identification. Integrated payment systems are also available, with a variety of funding options.
A generally higher level of automation security also allows for efficient control of people on a site, despite the different balance between staff, members and visitors than is usually the case in many traditional security installations.
We can help you understand more about the ways security and access control solutions can be used to enhance the members’ and customers’ experience at your leisure, sport or other recreation facility.

Are CCTV cameras static or can they be moved to view things?
There are generally two types of CCTV camera – static and ‘pan, tilt & zoom’ (PTZ). A static CCTV camera gives you a fixed view of an area you wish to monitor or protect; however a PTZ camera can be controlled by a either an operator using a joystick, artificial intelligence software, or linked to detectors or motion sensors to control the movement of the camera. The advantage of a PTZ camera is that you can change the view to cover a larger area where required.

- If my broadband connection is not working will my CCTV cameras still record?
If my broadband connection is not working will my CCTV cameras still record?
This depends on how your CCTV system is configured and what your requirements are. We always ask our clients to explain their objectives before installing any system so we can ensure that you get the right system for your needs. In most cases, it makes sense to ensure the CCTV system will continue to record independently of your internet connection and there are a number of different ways we can achieve this for you, building additional redundancy into the design. For example, if the CCTV cameras are hard-wired to your recorder, NVR or DVR, or have an internal memory, then the recording will be stored, even though you may not be able to access images remotely for a period of time. The activity on your site is still being saved to the hard drive of the recorder.
