Our client is a state-owned boarding and day school, providing education to children from local, national and international backgrounds. They have an extensive CCTV and Access Control (including lockdown) system, installed by Securus UK over a number of years, to ensure Safeguarding is in place for their staff and pupils, as well as the effective management of visitors and contractors on site. The ongoing functionality of the system is critical to the safe operation of the school.
With the size of the systems and the complexity of the integrations the school understood the importance of having a preventative maintenance solution that would also allow them to manage their budgets for the ongoing costs of operating its system over the long term.
Securus UK were able to provide the client with a bespoke service and maintenance Care Plan scheme, providing scheduled annual preventative maintenance works to ensure the ongoing smooth running and effectiveness of the system, with the costs spread over the Year.
The school have a fixed cost annual preventative maintenance schedule which assists them with their budgeting. The preventative maintenance schedule helps to extend the life of hardware and allows for the early identification of any additional works or replacement hardware that may be required. The Care Plan also provides the school with access to preferential service standards for any unplanned emergency work.
